3 Things I Never Do Manually Anymore

🧠 TL;DR

Manual work isn’t a badge of honor—it’s a bottleneck.

As a solopreneur, I used to do everything myself.

Now? I’ve built workflows around AI systems that handle the repetitive stuff so I can focus on the things that move the needle.

Let’s be real.
You didn’t start a solo business to spend your time:

  • Rewriting the same welcome email 12 times

  • Copy-pasting links into different platforms

  • Starting every blog post from a blinking cursor

But that’s exactly what I was doing before I built real systems.

And the truth?

Most tasks you do every week can be templatized, automated, or delegated to AI.

Here are 3 tasks I’ll never do manually again—and what I do instead.

✅ Thing #1: Writing Emails from Scratch

Old me:

Start with a blank doc.
Spend 2 hours writing a promo email.
Rewrite the CTA 4 times.
Panic-send at 11:59 PM.

New me:

I use Blaze.ai + a few repeatable prompt templates to generate:

  • Weekly newsletter drafts

  • Welcome sequences

  • Launch emails

Blaze gives me structure and speed—without sounding like a robot.

💡 Pro tip: I keep a personal “winning emails vault” so I can remix what’s already worked.

✅ Thing #2: Coming Up With Content Ideas

Old me:

Spend 45 minutes “brainstorming” content for the week.
Scroll Twitter for inspiration.
Second-guess everything.

New me:

I use Frase.io + Notion to build a never-ending stream of post ideas.

Here’s how:

  • Use Frase to scrape questions people are actually searching for

  • Drop them into Notion’s idea bank

  • Tag them by content pillar (AI tools, solopreneur mindset, funnel strategy, etc.)

Now when it’s time to create?

The ideas are waiting on me—not the other way around.

✅ Thing #3: Repurposing Content Manually

Old me:

Write a blog post.
Promise to repurpose it.
Never actually do it.

New me:

I use my own One-Person Content Engine to turn 1 idea into 5 assets automatically.

For example:

  • Blaze turns my blog into a tweet thread

  • Zebracat turns that into a Reel

  • Canva turns it into a Pinterest pin

  • Notion tracks it all so I don’t lose momentum

It’s not just about working smarter.

It’s about building a machine that works even when I don’t feel like it.

⚙️ The Rule I Live By Now

If I do it more than once, I ask: “Can I systemize this?”

If yes, I turn it into a:

  • Template

  • Automation

  • Prompt

  • Repeatable workflow

This is how you scale without a team.
This is how you avoid burnout.
This is how you actually enjoy running your business again.
